About Carissa

I work with energy as a living, embodied field, one that expresses through the body in real time.

My approach brings together somatic awareness, energetic intelligence, and a deep understanding of how people experience and regulate their inner worlds. The work is experiential, grounded, and responsive to the person in front of me.

My formal training began in Psychology, and for more than two decades I have worked at the intersection of nervous system regulation, embodied experience, and subtle energy. The way I work is shaped by careful listening, thoughtful pacing, and close attention to what is present in each moment.

A signature element of my work is the use of sound and voice as a form of attunement. Rather than scripted techniques, vocal resonance is offered in direct response to what the body and energy field are expressing in real time. The voice becomes another point of contact, supporting regulation, release, and reorganization in a way that can be felt rather than interpreted. This blending of touch, sound, and awareness allows the work to reach layers that words alone often cannot.

My perspective has been shaped as much by lived experience as by formal study. I have spent much of my life moving between different places, cultures, and ways of living. That experience taught me early on how differently bodies and nervous systems organize themselves, and how much becomes possible when we step outside what is familiar. This breadth of experience informs how I meet people in my work, with adaptability, curiosity, and respect for what is unfamiliar or still emerging.

At the heart of my work is a deep respect for the body’s capacity to reorganize itself. I use touch, voice, and attuned presence as guides, working collaboratively with each person to meet their system where it is ready. This keeps the work participatory, grounded, and integrative.

At Celestial Sol, the work is simple and precise. We slow down. We pay attention. We allow energy to move in ways that can be felt, integrated, and lived with, both on the table and beyond it.

This work is offered as an energetic and somatic support practice. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care, and no diagnosis or treatment is provided.
